Darrick Wilburn

Growing up in the Yakima Valley, Derrick Wilburn has a passion for baseball since grade school. Today his focus as being a coach and partner in FG Athletics is to help build our youth to be disciplined, focused, respectful and confident. For Derrick these days are all about giving back. Baseball teaches you skills that are so important in life, helping them to grow in skills builds self confidence and self worth. Derrick is a hard working coach, husband, dad of 3 including his baseball obsessed type 1 diabetic son as well as mason and sports card enthusiast. He believes building strong, self motivated kids who can overcome failures and continue to get back up is a key to a successful future and that builds a better future for all. He is grateful and blessed for the opportunity to work with your kids.
